How to Apply False Eyelashes in 6 Easy Steps - Strip Lash
-
Size the lashes.
First thing you need to do before gluing the lashes on is to make sure that they are not too wide for your eye. Nobody wants a horrible, dangling falsie outside their lash line and you don't want that either!
To do this, simply hold the lash strips up against your eyelid and trim down excess lengths on the sides as needed.
You can also trim down individual lash strands to get a more natural look, if the lashes are too long to your liking.
-
Glue the lashes.
Apply the lash glue to the eyelash strip with an applicator or a small brush, gently spreading the glue from one tip to another, without leaving a gap.
Allow the glue to dry for few seconds and attach to the lash strip before applying it to your lashes!
-
Stick it on.
Using an applicator, or your hands, position the middle part of the strip lash on the middle of your eyelid, as closely as possible to your natural lashes.
For perfection, start just above the natural lash line and bring it down as close to lash line as possible.
Then, starting from each ends of the strip, adjust the fit so that the strip lash sits along your natural lash line.
-
Let it dry.
Allow the glue to dry naturally- you do not need to press or hold it unless the glue you are using dries too slowly. If the strip lash stays in position after you let go, it is perfectly fine for you to let go and allow the glue to dry naturally.
-
Time for your mascara!
Blend in your natural lashes with the falsies by applying mascara to your lashes. This will make sure that you achieve a more natural look!
Try to use a mascara with a matching colour to your natural lashes and false eyelashes for a perfect blend.
-
Do not forget to use an eyeliner.
Apply eyeliner along your upper lids and fill any gaps between the falsies and your natural lash line. A liquid eyeliner is recommended to achieve the most natural look possible.
For eyeliner, try to use darker colour for a perfect blend.

How to remove your falsies the right way.
To remove your strip lash, simple use makeup remover for a quick removal. Dip a q-tip in eye makeup remover and gently rub it along the strip lash. Let it sit for a minute or two before gently pulling off the strip.
If the strip is being stubborn, simple dab more makeup remover on it- but make sure you don't use too much and hurt your eyes!
